Meet Jen and Michelle. Michelle is a semi-truck driving , lap dog loving, steady and all round sweet heart. Jen is a political science student, lover of design, keen blogger (check it out here for gay Mum themes) and I think last I saw she was opening an Etsy shop. Opposites attract in the best possible way. Jen’s two tween/teen kids were a huge part of our day in the life session in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jen loves documentary photography, which excited me no end. She wanted to capture the milestone in their relationship of Jen moving house with her kids to be closer to Michelle. We also visited a favourite place of theirs in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

I adored photographing their life in a candid way, they were a lot of fun to follow around. I can’t wait to photograph more couples and families in this way.
