An evening at Suncrest, Utah, with Nadia, Bruno and their girls.

There are a bunch of things I love about Salt Lake City. One of them is the how small the degree of separation is between the people you meet here.

This family found my business card in a cafe one day and called me for a session. As it turns out, Bruno and my husband work for the same company. Additionally, Bruno works for a man within that company whose family I happened to be photographing the same weekend Nadia had called me. It seems there is a *half* degree of separation between people here. Having grown up in country Victoria (Australia), this suits me just fine.

I discovered another thing I love about Salt Lake City on the evening I photographed this family – Suncrest. It is so beautiful. Seriously.

This family is super charming. Nadia is bubbly, completely lovely and has the most adorable French-Canadian accent. Bruno and Nadia’s girls are like little dolls.
